Cheated weigh-in and reflection

happy feet
Current weight 258 pounds

I know, I shouldn't weigh myself everyday but um, I've just lost another 2 pounds! When I weighed myself on Tuesday and Wednesday I felt that the scale wanted to go lower (sounds nuts but its true) I felt that I was hitting a new phase in my weight loss. I don't know how I felt this or why and I won't question it since I think God has something to do with it.

I've been feeling a lot less stress, my stepson called yesterday and I told him no company for awhile I hope I didn't hurt his feelings but I need to be me for a bit. No sooner do I not have company do I start losing weight, hmm...

I still haven't exercised, I think I'm the only blogger in the exercise group who doesn't. Why is that? Why can't I get this body to move? I must be lazy and I don't plan it in my schedule like I did for those weeks that I did exercise. That has to be my priority along with following this plan. How do I motivate myself to move my body? How come I haven't motivated myself to do it yet? Is it because I'm losing in spite of now activity? I want to be in shape, I want to be bendy, I want to feel sexy and exercise will do that, especially with this gut!

I've got to stop thinking and start moving...

Congrats on the loss. You are doing fantastic!

As for the exercise...I ain't gonna lie. There is no magic motivation bullet to get ya moving and it ain't always that great. You just do it. Suck it up and do it. *groan*

If it helps any, getting it out of the way first thing in the morning is the best way to go.

Wow, congrats! There's just something about a scale that is moving DOWN that can start your day off with a smile - and sometimes a little happy dance! lol

Getting started is the hardest part with exercise. Once you do..it will all fall in to place. So first step get moving second step consistency. Good job on your loss.

I have to agree with the others, the first step is to just get out there and do it whether you really feel like it or not. Once you get working out each morning or even if it's just every other day, You will soon start to feel so much better...both physically and emotionally. Excercise, it does our bodies good!

Congrats on the weight loss... You are doing great.

An object in motion tends to stay in motion. An object at rest tends to stay at rest.

I find the momentum once I get moving helps carry me through staying active. Find something you love! Me, I am weird... I love raking leaves! Or mopping :)

I find it SO hard not to weigh in everyday. I kind of think it gives me a grasp on the mistakes (or lack there of) that I had the previous day. Either way, it looks like you are doing great!

I have to weigh every day too and I have the same problem getting my body to move. I can barely tie my shoes or put my sox on anymore. It cuts my breath off. I don't understand why it's so hard to make myself exercise when I feel so much better afterwards. ?

I really enjoy your blog and posts. You're doing good. 45 lbs gone is a BIG accomplishment! Have a wonderful week! :)
